There are a lot of things that need to be done with this:

Colorize the World Map for the Elliptical Projection

I want to colorize the world map so that it is easy to see the distribution of OS/2 users from a global view. (I'm working on this using gd 1.2).  Please Mail me if you know how to get degrees lat/lon - > pixel location!

Sometimes sites don't appear

This is because a sinusoid projection is wider at the top/bottom than it is in the middle.  I use the middle for the calculations of who gets included in the map, as trying to project the sine map into the rectangular database comes up with totally bogus results.

Use an elliptical projection for the World Map.

Mail me if you know how to interpolate pixels -> degrees lat/lon on elliptical maps.

Provide enhanced maps for non-US addresses
